Natalie Gaddie
Hi, I am Natalie.
I didn't come to counselling through a straight career path.
My journey has included years of working with children, young people, and families, alongside my own lived experiences of navigating life's challenges and learning that there is rarely a one-size-fits-all answer when it comes to support.
Those experiences taught me the value of curiosity, connection, and looking beyond the surface. They also inspired me to pursue counselling as a way of helping people better understand themselves, their relationships, and the challenges they face.
Today, I'm a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and am completing further studies in Autism Studies through Griffith University.
When I'm not counselling, you'll usually find me learning about something. I'm naturally curious and enjoy exploring the different ways people think, communicate, and make sense of their experiences. Whether through books, research, gaming, or everyday conversations, I'm always interested in what helps people feel more connected to themselves and to those around them.
I aim to bring a calm, down-to-earth, and practical approach to my work. I believe people are more than their struggles, and that lasting change often starts with feeling heard, understood, and supported.
